Black Hills PRIDE Festival

The Black Hills Center for Equality (BHCFE) is proud to announce the date of our 5th annual Black Hills PRIDE festival taking place at Wilson Park in Rapid City, SD. Mark the July 9th, 2016 on your calendar for the biggest celebration of the year. From starting quietly in the 1980's we now anticipate 1000+ attendees and their pets to shop, eat, be entertained at our fun-filled annual festival. This is BCHFE's biggest event of the year bringing the LGBT community and its allies together in celebration. We look forward to seeing you at our 5th annual Black Hills Pride festival.

VENDOR AND PERFORMER INFORMATION

  • Date: Saturday July 9th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.          
  • Location: Wilson Park
  • Setup: Friday July 8th from 5:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. or Saturday July 9th starting at 7:30 a.m.
  • Booth Fees: Non-profit fee $35.00              For-profit / Retail $50.00
  • Add-Ons: Table & two chairs $10.00           Electricity $5.00

If you are interested in supporting our cause and exhibiting or entertaining at PRIDE, please complete the application below. You must pay for your booth in full before we recieve your application. The payment is located within the Vendor / Perfomer Application.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

  • Date: Saturday July 9th, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.  
  • Location: Wilson Park
  • Setup: Friday July 8th from 5:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. or Saturday July 9th starting at 7:30 a.m.
  • Pride Dance: July 9th, 2016 from 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
  • Dance Setup: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Black Hills Center for Equality. Join our awesome team for a fun-filled day celebrating with your friends, family, or community members that you haven’t meant yet. Please fill out our application below if you wish to volunteer.

- Tear Down and Clean Up

- The BHCFE Booth

- Kid’s Corner

- PRIDE After Party Set Up and Tear Down

  • I wasn't able to attend the Festival in the park :( but I heard it went really well. I attended the after party, and it was a really fun! Cannot wait until next year! You guys rock....keep up the good work! If other's attended the event and would like to add some comments please post them and share them!
