What: Teen Pride sponsored by Black Hills Center for Equality (BHCFE)
When: Friday, December 1st from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Dahl Arts Center
Teen Pride is an opportunity to hang with your friends and meet new LGBTQ+ friends in a safe environment. DJ Crissy Davies from hot 93.1 will be spinning tunes all night. Snacks and drinks wil be served. This year’s teen pride is winter wonderland themed. We will have make your own ornaments you can put on your Christmas tree. We will also have a photo station with fabulous props. This event is free attend and open to teens ages 14-20. Tell your friends. This is the place to be on December 1st. This event is sponsored by BHCFE and chaperoned by the Black Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
Sarah Keppen moved from Sioux Falls to West River South Dakota in April 2015 for a position at Regional Health. She works full-time as an Application System Analyst in the IT - Software Services department supporting clinical software applications. Sarah joined the Black Hills Center for Equality (BHCFE), Inc board of directors in October 2015. She spent her first year on the board as the Board Secretary. Sarah is currently the board Vice President She is a fierce advocate for LGBT equality.
When she is not supporting the LGBT community, fighting for equality, or serving her customer's technology needs, Sarah enjoys traveling, the outdoors, hiking, camping, kayaking, music concerts, foreign foods, and spending time with family and friends.
